I agree, we can just lock the thread and go home... there is nothing left to see here.

Awesome Cinnamons everyone. Better question would be, "What's the point of this thread?" C'mon, don't be rude, respect the tastes of other people. I respect the fact that you don't like them, but why put down other peoples animals?

    Cheers,

That's what I'm thinking, because the NICE cinnies I've seen are nothing like a normal... I might be getting one soon, and she could never be mistaken for anything else. And like the others have said, you can make some very nice morphs with a cinnamon - like the pewter, which is my plan if I get that girl. I want this, and you need a cinnamon to achieve it: http://www.vpi.com/sites/vpi.com/fil...VPI%29001o.jpg

As for why somebody would get one as a pet? Well, I doubt someone who was only looking for a pet would get a morph - of any kind. They'd just get a normal BP for $50-100, like most of us did at first.

Re: What is the point of Cinnamons?

I can see how you might get confused... the coloring is very similar, however the pattern on a cinnie is more like "bubbles" than a normie

Re: What is the point of Cinnamons?

Exactly. Most people who just want a pet BP will get a nice normal. It's the lucky ones that have good friends who breed or a pet store that doesn't know what they've got who get morphs as pets.

Now I do agree in some small way with the OPs original idea - that being most cinnies do not look that different from normals. Nice cinnies are an exception, as seen here, but there are those that just look like dark red normals. I used to think cinnies were a 'waste' of a morph...but that was before I learned about pewters and Super cinnies! With a partner who wants a black snake, I learned fast to appreciate the qualities of a nice cinnamon BP.
