Re: Lesser male or female woma?

"The '09 Lessers below are from the Saving Grace Reptiles line and known for high yellow pigmentation!"

    True, false? Just marketing?

Anyway, female lesser, 90g, for $400 shipped for SGR line, or 350 for the non-SGR one, which looks just as nice as a hatchling.

Or $265 for a 250g woma female, non NERD line.

I did find a guy claiming he was selling nerd WOMAs, he was only asking 400. That seems a little cheap, eh? Anyway, I am not getting it, just thought I'd mention it since someone said it was quite expensive.

Anyway, I am debating between the the female lesser or the non-NERD woma . I kinda like the idea of working with a morph that is a little more uncommon like the woma.

How much "better" would it be to have a female lesser compared to a male lesser? That is what it comes down to. If having the female is a lot better I think I'll go with that. If a male is just about as good I am going to woma town.

Re: Lesser male or female woma?

It depends on what you want to do with it. If you want BELs then you have Mojaves of both sexes so sex doesn't matter. Personally I found getting a male Lesser to be most handy, but that's because I have 2 females to breed him to. So it really depends on what you want.

All Lessers are from the Platty Daddy line, so which lesser you get probably doesn't matter, select one based on what it looks like and how much you like it.

If you want to work wit the Woma line then the NERD line is definitely the best to work with, and get it straight from them.

But really, go with what you want.

the "daddy" gene is carried by the normal looking siblings, not the lessers themselves. If they lessers carried the gene they'd display it an be Platinums rather than just lessers.

Re: Lesser male or female woma?

Just because a woma was bought from Nerd does not guarantee it to be carrying the hidden gene. Anyone claiming to be selling NERD womas for $400 are selling the line without the hidden gene.

    Edit:
Some hidden gene woma stuff here...

Re: Lesser male or female woma?

I went with a SGR line lesser. I was talking to the seller about it. But apparently they sold all their normal lessers and this year they only have hets and visuals, so the only SGR lessers are from people who bought them a season before. I changed my mind and went with a SGR one after seeing the difference in a slightly older male.

And as we all know, color sells. But if you just compare this girl to the one I linked before this one has just a ton more yellow and is way more likely to keep it and start having some nice yellow come through the blushing.

I did end up buying a SGR one, here is a pic from the auction:

Really nice reduced pattern on her. I wanted #13 but someone is making payments on her, . But no complaints about this girl. Great blushing and some really nice patterning, some alien head stuff on the front and really reduced and banded towards the back. Can't wait for her.

Let me know what ya think and what I should breed her to down the line!

Hence me saying that it's an extremely low chance to get one. Word on the street is people have managed to get Platty Daddys by breeding their lesser to a normal, it's a very very unlikely situation, but Ralph mentioned it in his last video.

And that female is brilliant, I'd love to see her make some babies.

Re: Lesser male or female woma?

    Looks like it's too late.

I have lessers (adult and babies) and I also have a woma male.

I prefer lessers, there is no doubt in that. But the woma makes cool stuff too. There is no way you had a HG woma for 400. You could have a NERD line woma, but not a HG. Nerd only sold 2 HG woma, one was a female I think and the other one went to GHI, and the babies I saw were priced way higher than 400$.

I still suggest you to go with the woma. 1st, it's a female, 2nd they make awesome combos. Your best bet, would be to get a lesser female.
