I don't think the OP has an RI. He was only asking if anyone knew of any home remedies, or procedures to use while you are waiting for vet appts, etc. He already knows you have to take them to a vet. He was just asking if anyone knew of any alternatives ( in an un-neccessarily large font, I might add).

see there is one guy who gets it. just trying to help others out in case they run into the problem. now the large font..lol just makes it easyer to read.
