    This topic has me entirely perplexed about the visible differences between butters and lessers. Those snakes look like the exact same morph... Ah!

    That said, while they look so similar my brain still thinks it's the same snake, they are absolutely flawless in appearance. You know how to pick them.

    my butter is a bit more brown and yellow, while the lesser is more cream colour.
    they look quite different in person

    This is one of the main reasons I think butters and lessers shouldn't be bred together. They look too similar as hatchlings. So you might be sold a butter as a lesser or a lesser as a butter and might be very disappointed when they grow into their adult colors.

    Here is my xtreme Gene butter male (he has lightened up a ton since this pic)

    0.2 Piebald
    0.1 Mojave
    0.1 Pastel
    0.1 Butter Pastel
    0.1 Granite lemon blast (granite, pastel, pinstripe)
    1.0 Bumblebee (pastel spider) Het piebald 50% het caramel
    1.0 X-treme gene Butter
