Re: ?? Number of Codom Breeder Males ??
I have:
2 Pastels, 1 Black Pastel, 1 Mojave, 1 Pinstripe, 1 Spotnose, 1 YB. I am not holding back any male co doms. Concentrating right now on getting female co doms so I can hold back double co doms next season and take it from there.

Re: ?? Number of Codom Breeder Males ??
Like Adam said I think the way to do it is doubles or triples.Unless you have a particular project your working on (ie=Black Pastel xBlack Pastel or a recessive) Just my

I am down to 2 and slowly moving toward double and triple genes males.
Now females it’s another story

Re: ?? Number of Codom Breeder Males ??
One of each for me. Definitely will never have more then one male of the same Codom morph. In my breeding plans it would just be wasteful. Once I make doubles I will probably faze out my single Codom morphs. Nothing else would make sense to me.
Of course the opposite is true for Codom females. I want as many of those as I can get my hands on... regardless of repeats.

So to answer my question gererally most of you are not keeping more than one codom breeder male around. Even if your breeders are doubles, you will not keep multiple bees, pewters, blast, ect?

Like Adam said, I think it has to do with how many females you expect them to breed with each year.....I only have about 10 normal breeder females left, so one male per girl is enough, If I had the hundreds of snakes Mr Wysocki has, I would have bigger groups of each co doms.
