Why would you want THIS topic on topic?

I mean there are times that topics should be kept on topic, but this topic was just mean from the start, we could all see it moving toward keyboard violence, and now it isn't, it's becoming entirely an off topic topic, and no one is at anyone's throats anymore. Locking it would make sense, or moving it over to an off topic section of the forum, but really if this topic gets back on topic there may be text rocks and typed sticks involved.

Sure we can carry on all of these different lines of conversation in one thread as that makes tons of sense.
1. Prices are dropping
2. 2012 will be an interesting year
3. You claiming that someone is showing the early warning signs of being a serial killer
They all go together like Peanut Butter and Spinach so by all means......
