    fungus on egg

When I was checking my egg clutch today, i noticed a little fungus growing on one of the eggs (see picture). Should i start getting worried? What can i do about it so it wont grow any further? the clutch is on day 43 btw

You can use a q-tip to apply a little antifungal foot powder and that should take care of it. I had a few start to mold in the second half of incubation and decided to leave them alone and all was fine.

Even if the eggs were touching, usually a tiny fungus on one egg like that will not affect the other eggs or the one its on. A friend who is a breeder has kept and incubated eggs that looked like bad eggs. Brown or mishaped or too small, or developed a fungus on them at some point and these eggs have hatched. I wouldnt be too worried. Its very close to hatching time anyway.
