I have a Facebook account myself. I'm also 39. I have friends from the past, family and new friends I've made over the years. I have some of my animals on thier if you guys would like to check out, Ronnie Dean - rdmaker@yahoo.com for anyone that wants to check it out.

I hated MySpace - I could never figure out how to change my profile picture and most of the pages I viewed were obnoxious color schemes.

I resisted Facebook, because I thought it was another MySpace, but Kara talked me into joining one night when we were chatting, and I LOVE it! I play FarmTown and Farmville on there, sometimes Zuma and keep up with friends. I've gotten in touch with old high school and college friends that I'd lost contact with and the brother of my very best friend, who I wasn't really close to in high school (he was older than us). She died a few years after we graduated from a brain tumor, and I've missed her every single day since then. He and I have connected through Facebook, and share memories of Kristin and I think it's cathartic for both of us. He named his daughter after her!

I signed up a few months ago and it has been fun reconnecting with old friends that I'd lost touch with. This, to me, is the most valuable feature of facebook. Although now some of them have started tagging me in 25 yr old photos from high school...

I have both. I am 34 and have had both for a while. Main reason is because I am military and it is the easiest way to let the whole family see what is going on while you are away. Any time they want top see pictures of my kids or get updates on what is going on with us it is just a click away. I have also reconnected with friends I have not seen since high school.
