    Yes hypomelanistic and ghost are two different names for the same morph.

    Pastel is another gene.

    If the animal in question carries one copy of the gene it would be heterozygous for that gene, In codom morphs such as pastels the animal is visually different than a normal. Where the ghost gene is a recessive trait, it needs two copies of the gene (homozygous) to be visibly different.

    So with that said, a pastel ghost would carry one pastel gene and two ghost genes. where a super pastel would carry two copies of the pastel gene and no copies of the ghost gene.
