I used to be HUGE into Eminem. If I saw a picture of him on a magazine cover I would automatically buy it. I used to have all his CDs, used to know all the lyrics to all his songs, all the facts about him, blah blah blah... Typical tween obsession over him!
I grew out of it though. I don't respect rap music at all, though Eminem has more respect for the music than the typical rapper today, so if I hear a song of his, I won't be so quick to cover my ears. I like how he has humor in his songs. Some of the stuff he raps about is just hilarious. Although, I wouldn't call him a singer. People like Britney Spears sing, Eminem raps.
Now I'm more into hard rock/"nu metal". Other than Eminem, there's not alot of rap music that I don't make fun of on a daily basis. Just my taste of music
