Yeah, I was the one who posted this.

Along with seeing cheaper pastels that weren't very good examples, I was surprised to see such weak examples at high prices too! It was a huge mixed bag there. You had to go in and nit-pick through each booth. We knew what we wanted, and we combed each isle till we found what we wanted for a decent price. We knew - you see something you want for a good deal, you don't just walk away from it because it'll be gone if you try to come back...

    I'm very happy with our pick-ups. ^____^

Driving home now.... I skipped on being a vendor this year and just enjoyed the show! Overall I was encouraged to see that although there were deal to be had, you just couldn't find a truely exceptional animal for a rock-bottom price. I paid WAY more than the lowest price for my pickups! Justin

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this. I don't know about you, but I was so stressed when I first got there. I wanted to get the best spider I could find. When, I found a nice one there was always the little voice in the back of my head saying "if you leave its gone!"

Eventually, I found a nice spider and bought it, pure impulse buying. haha.

After that, my anxiety was gone and I was finally able to enjoy the show. No one ever told me that these shows could be so stressfull!

    Re: Daytona Price report

Wow, I don't know about you guys but as a beginner breeder I was very happy to see what appeared to be a serious stabilization of morph prices.

I expected It to be like last year where prices were just ridiculously low compared to the previous year. While there were a couple of good deals to be had, for the most part prices were about where they should have been for each morph, and sellers for the most part were sticking to their prices (trust me, I tested this ).

Don't get me wrong... each already established morph was a little cheaper then it was last year, but the overall the percentage of change compared to last years prices were very low.... and for someone like me who plans on tripling the amount of hatchlings I produce next year, this is VERY good news.
