Has This Been Produced?
Well call me insane but I had a dream last night that a very (crazy) kind breeder gave me a BP he recently produced. (Yeah, ONLY in my dreams. ) It was beautiful. It was an Axanthic Spider Pied.
I am wondering if this has been produced or is currently being worked on? I know there's the Spied and Axanthic Pied but both? PICTURES if there are any.

Re: Has This Been Produced?
Double recessives are still just in their infancy, not many have been mixed with co-dom yet. In the next few years I would bet an axanthic pied spider will be produced but I doubt it has been produced yet.
1.0: Honey Bee | Lesser | Banana Pastel Enchi | Clown 66% Het Albino
0.1: Kingpin | x2 Mojave | Super Pastel HGW | Albino | Sterling Mojave Pinstripe | GHI Pewter | Pastel Het Clown | Sable 66% Het Clown

Re: Has This Been Produced?
I don't really see the point of even trying to produce that morph. A spider pied is already so high white, that an ax spider pied would just be an all white snake with a gray and black head.

Axanthic Spider x Pied will yield:
Spider Het Axanthic Het Pied
Het Axanthic Het Pied
Axanthic Spider Het Pied x Pied will yield:
Spied (Spider Pied) Het Axanthic
Pied Het Axanthic
Spider Het Pied Het Axanthic
Het Pied Het Axanthic
You need to pair double hets up in order to get the double recessive.
Spider Het Pied Het Axanthic x Het Pied Het Axanthic
1.0: Honey Bee | Lesser | Banana Pastel Enchi | Clown 66% Het Albino
0.1: Kingpin | x2 Mojave | Super Pastel HGW | Albino | Sterling Mojave Pinstripe | GHI Pewter | Pastel Het Clown | Sable 66% Het Clown

It depends on how the Axanthic gene conflicts with the Spider gene when produced with a Pied. Axanthic Pieds are not all white except for the head, so there's a chance it would have less white in an Axanthic Spider Pied and more pattern on it's body.
It can not be guarenteed that the genes will look the same when combined.

True, but unlikely. Look at the Bumblebee (Pastel Spider) Pied...

I would imagine the axanthic gene wouldn't do much considering it seems pretty neutral when it comes to pattern.
The axanthic killer bee, bumble bee, clown, pastel, pinstripe, etc. all seem to have the same pattern as their non-axanthic counterparts.
I assume the axanthic spider pied would be no different...but you never know.

It's an all white snake with just a little yellow on the head. Cool, but probably not what you're envisioning.
