Using red LED lights for night lighting with no heat

Ok, so since I read that snakes cant see red lights and only notice the heat emission at night, then can I use red LED's for basically heat free lighting at night? I could get rope lights or little clusters for night lighting that doesnt bother him.

    What are your thoughts?

Whats wrong with rope lights? and I ordered 2 different LED light bulbs that fit into normal fixtures. Itll be nice to have a light I can look at him and night, and he wont be aware of it at all hopefully.

the ropes are very dim and would have to be put in the cage if you got the bulbs they are brighter and will fill your wants and needs more
