I drilled holes in the lid not the actual tub. I tried drilling the tub and cracked it But if you want some holes on the sides of the actual tub i would solder holes into it. But i would always have a hygrometer to make sure the humidty doesnt get out of control and you dont notice. And if you dont have a temp gun id highly recommend it. I always read oh its the greatest thing to have with herps and i was just like yeah yeah a thermometer does the same thing but not i bought one from RBI and its great. I can check temps all over in 2 seconds. Its a must.

okay ill get a temp gun for my bday.. i got a 6qt tub and made half of the top screen and the other half with a few holes. its the right size for my 100 gram girl and should work for quite a while. what im going to do is move her from the 20L tank to the 6qt, and then move my leos into the 20L, then move the mice to the 10 gal. its perfect . do you think she will care if i downgrade her from a 20L all the way to a 6qt?

Well i have my 100 gram male in a 12 quart. But i think a 100 gram would like the 6 quart. Ball pythons love to feel safe, and a small space does that for them. Granted too small of space isnt what they want either. But I think the 6quart will be okay for awhile.

No problem. Its nice to help someone out. But i think the 12-15 quarts are great for hatchling up to about 250-350 grams. My guy is on a 5 day feeding schedule and is growing like a weed. And im going to buy my guy one of the reptile basics custom cages. They look great, awsome customer service, good prices, and have awsome reviews.

Re: Could i keep my BP in a tub?

Okay i just had a huge brain blast lol! it took about an hour and im finally done

okay, so i moved my leopard gecko into the bps 20L and he is super happy! I moved the Bp into a 15qt tub with the mesh top, and moved the mice breeders into the 10 gallon.

It worked out soo perfectly! i think from now on all of my bps are going in tubs! And this also means i can get my leo a freind! this worked out so perfectly! im so happy! im going to be posting a video on youtube in about 20 mins il post it up!
