Uth for A tub

Im gnna get a tub for a spider im going to get... What size tu. Would be good for his lifespan and wat size UTH should i use i was thinking 30-40

I would start off with something smaller, especially if he's a hatcling. I don't know if I'm correct, but maybe a 15qt tub to start? Then a 32qt as he gets bigger to full size?

I know you won't want one tub for life as it can stress a bp out just like a tank if you go to big.

The UTH size also depends on the tub size.

A shoebox or 15 qt at biggest to start with IMHO... then size up to a 32 or 42. Tubs are very inexpensive & also happen to be much easier to provide proper temps & RH. The UTH should cover about 1/3 of the tub bottom & you can use duct tape to affix it instead of the adhesive bottom... allowing you to use on different tubs down the road if you like.

I agree, although aluminum foil tape is easier to use than duct tape.
