    My first shot at F/T

I am going to make my first attempt at feeding my Baby bp a f/t mouse. im gona thaw it out in a plastic baggy and then when its thawed im gona rub it on my breeder mice's bedding to make it smell "more micey"(lol) than im gona warm it up with a blow drier and offer it on hemostats!

    wish me luck!

Good luck & don't "cook" it with the hair-dryer... warm the head only if you can & when it's warm to the touch, it's ready.

What I do is a few minutes before I offer it I empty the water and add new hot water. This way the rat gets really nice and warm on the inside and out, I would imagine that a hair dryer would only warm the outside.

hey good news she took the f/t mouse! i did what you guys told me and it worked out well! it took a few minutes for her to realize its food.

the first time she just bit it and let go, but then i picked it up and then she coiled it and is swallowing as we speak.
