    Het Pied Female

I was wondering what the current prices are for a hatchling 100% het pied female, a subadult 100% het pied female, and a breedable 100% het pied female are these days?

I want to get a het pied female in 2010 after my tax return comes in or whenever I have the money available for such a purchase so I was wondering what I can expect to pay.

hatchlings run about $400-$500, sub-adults to Adults, depending on weight/age/proven etc can cost as much if not more than a male hatchling Pied.

Depending on who you buy it from you can get a free Het. Boy when you buy a girl.

    Re: Het Pied Female

I already have a 100% het pied male. I'm trying for 50% phet pied girls this season to raise up and breed back to him. I was thinking about doing this and just getting a morph girl soon (Cinnamon female or a het albino pair)

I hatched my 1st morph from a pair of Albino hets, but as soon as I could I got a Homozygous boy to work with. I hate "possie" hets; it's so much nicer to know who your hets are. Plus the % homozygous goes to 50% instead of 25% when you go Homozygous to Het in a pairing. Just a thought as your building your collection.

Cinnies (or Black Pastels) are great because at least your hets are visual or you may want to shop shop around for a sweet Pewter.

I want to get a nice cinny girl to pair with my pastel male. Does anyone know what subadult females are going for?

Again depending on weight probably $400-$600. The heavier the more expensive.
