    Weird Cist Bubble things?

Okay so my aptor has these things. I have no idea what they are. Anyone have a clue? They are right under her armpits.

Calcium deposits. Cut back on the calcium and they will start to go away...

Don't they develop calcium deposits when they are building eggs?

They can if you are giving them too much calcium The one good thing about seeing them is you know that the are getting enough calcium. Males get calcium deposits too. I have a male that has small ones now. I just start cutting the feeder dusting back on the ones that start to develop them.

Really? I've always been told that it's just an additional spot to store fat, like their tail.

In my experience (mind you I am not a leo master-lol) if I cut back the ammount of calcium I give them they go down. I keep feeding them the same ammount so my guess would be that it isn't fat. Some people say it could be fat but it is debated because Fatty tissue is not translucent. Here are some links to help...

Thanks! I don't have the time to read all of those right now, but I read the first couple of pages of the first one. VERY interesting discussion. Thank you so much for the links!
