He told me that he has never had IBD, and there was no proof. He said that if someone could prove that he sold a snake with IBD that he would make the situation right. From what he said, and I have heard many other say, vets will diagnose a snake with IBD anytime it has a neurological problem. I have even heard of vets diagnosing spider balls with IBD because they don't know what else it could be.Originally Posted by joepythons
I don't know whether the snake had IBD or not, but if his collection had IBD, then all of his ball pythons would have been dead within weeks. But this is years later, and he still has his collection, which to me proves that it could not have been IBD.
