    Re: expo

I don't think the "quality" of the snake is what determines the price of the snake, I would hope that no one would purchase a snake that was in poor quality, and if they did I would hope it would be to get the snake out of the situation it was in. I think its funny when people confuse "quality" with attractiveness or who the seller is, I could breed snakes and they would be just as good as Ralph Davis' are, he is just a big house name, like Bob Clark, so I guess his snakes are higher quality? No. I would rather buy the $1200 09 Clown BP from a no namer (as long as she was healthy) then to buy from someone who was ensisting on their Ball Pythons were of higher quality because of their name, lol. Think about it, the no namer got his BP from someone, haha.

Now I am in no way stating that Ralphie (the KING) is someone I wouldn't buy from, because I plan on purchasing from him for sure, he is just the man, lol. I am just saying I think its funny how "quality" now days is determined by the breeder and not by the actual snake, even Ralph himself has bad eggs each year

Actually I think you misunderstood. Quality of the snake means the patterns, coloration and such. We are not talking about the condition that the snake is being kept it. Of course you're going to pay more for a better looking snake.
