Yep people need to understand that the same mind set that makes a little dog aggressive is the same that makes a big dog aggressive..

The only difference is the size of the hole they put in you.

    Re: Vicious dog attack

I dont really like small toy dogs.. I could never have one... I lose my big 250 lbs Mastiff.... Imagine what would happen if i had a 10 lbs pomchiwawaranian or whatever they are called... LMAO Big Dogs also have such a sweeter personality... I would trust my 6 FT tall, 250 lbs mastiff around my baby cousin 100x's more than a 7" 10 lbs pomchiwawaraninan... LOL Also, if you have a small dog, please dont be offended... Its just my opinion, as i've had experience with both animals...

Poms can get really excited and won't stop barking. Two of my dogs are Chow chow mixes and they are adorable. Though, I don't really like how Chow chow dogs look sometimes.

    Re: Vicious dog attack

Worse bite I ever had was from a toy poodle, and I used to be the bite dummy for our drug dog when I was a cop.

Now I have a German Shorthair Pointer. She is the most tame and gentle dog you would ever see. Last year I had someone reach over my fence at her and she bit his face. It was none too pretty, but he was trespassing by reaching over my fence to pet a barking dog, which is not too smart anyways.

    Re: Vicious dog attack

I live in a townhouse complex where all the grass area between units is common area. I walk through as a shortcut to my car parked out on the street. Kids use this area lots aswell. Well everyday I walk through just waiting for one of 2 dogs that always attack me. There are no fences but each unit has a patio with a bit of grass inbetween 2 partitions to seperate from the next unit. People tie thier evil mutts out there and leave them. They are on chains that are much longer than the area that is considered thier property so these dogs easily reach the common area. Well the one dog is small and they have it tied up using a retractable leash that they close the handle in the patio door and leave the string with the dog on outside, and the dog is able to go as far as the string is long. But walking by you have no idea how long it actually is. Well this dog always comes at me teeth bared nipping at my feet, I just want to feed it to my boa.
Well now there is a new dog in town, its bigger, about medium hieght so more of a concern as a bite could be bad from one its size. It has a friend too. Well it is on the opposite side so when you walk through you dont know its there untill it has come charging under the partition right at you.
Gives me a near heart attack every time.
First time it attacked me at came out and snapped at my leg, came within cms of getting me, only stopped by its chain. It then stood there barking , and growling at me and I could not get by it. The lady came out and said, bad dog and took it in. I told her it almost bit me and shes like oh, it wont bite anyone. Ya right, it snapped at my leg, had its chain been longer I am certain I would have been bit.
Then it happened agian and it had its little friend, another dog that is fine until its buddy attacks first then it joins in. Well I now walk as far away as I can in case its outside and of course there he comes charging under the fence snapping at me. His little friend tried to follow but got stuck under the fence by the cone around its head. Now that was funny, stupid dog.
Well the lady comes out and once agian its "bad dog" no apology or anything, just a look like , well you shouldnt have walked through here, like she owns the place or something. She tried to put the dog in the house and then this was the last straw. The dog escaped her now unchained and came running after me, teeth bared and chased me through the common area. It finally stopped and went back to her when I stood my ground at it. Still no apology. I told her I was getting animal control becuase this was too much. Alot of kids are around and if this dog can scare me you can only imagine what it can do to a small childs mind. So I have reported it to city bylaw, hopefully I dont have to deal with it agian.
Makes me so glad I own snakes. Much less evil.

jk. I don't really kick dogs.
Niether do I God I can't stand small dogs I really wish they would reclassify them as a rodent. Although rodents don't bother me.

And for hose who whose sarcasm detector is inop I don't and have never kicked a dog. Wait I did once but thats because it had my cat by the throat and wouldn't let go. I miss my kitty

Thank God it's not an A.P.B.T, or it would be on the front page and everyone would walk a little further from me at the park . I have a friend with Yorkshire Terriers and they are so unpleasant and noisy to be around accessories aren't supposed to need training are they ?
