I think I know a few people that may be interested in going. Some friends of mine do love my snakes, but not sure if they will fool around and scare away the reptiles or not lol

I'm game. I always have Wed and Sun off. Or obviously most early mornings.

There's a LOT of places to go out and find herps, there's just no sensible field herper who will give you locales.

Re: ANYWHERE to go field herping in AZ...

Actually, that was a helpful comment. If you want good herping spots, don't rely on those that give you locales on a public herp forum, for they are generally not responsible field herpers.

    OP, PM sent

So then she's supposed to know with mind powers? Asking on a public forum IS a good way to share information. It's comments like yours that would steer a new person away. Your comment conveyed a very snobby attitude.

Don't bother with a PM next time.

No snobby attitude intended. I sent her a PM, as well.

All I meant is that it's easier to just PM experienced herpers in the area, and they are more likely to then give out specific spots that on a public forum that poachers and collectors view, too.

Asking on a public forum IS a good way to share information.
That is simply incorrect if you want specific spots.

Re: ANYWHERE to go field herping in AZ...

Right outside my hotel! I went out in Saguaro national park a few days and all I found was a WDB. Later I spent 2 days at a nice hotel on a golf course that had a "desert trail" and the sign said watch out for wildlife. I was the only one ever on the trail which was nice. I saw a nice WDB, a roadrunner and javalenas (sp?), there was also a bobcat around which I was not lucky enough to see.
    I'm not your friend buddy!
