It's only illegal to sell them in the city... so I should have said, you won't see them here in San Francisco.  I grew up on the Peninsula, and occasionally saw BPs at the Petco - no morphs that I can remember, but I didn't know snakes at that time.

It wasn't a cinny then.
I have heard of pastels being sold at the chain stores but have not seen them for myself. I would rather buy from a reputable breeder and get some good history on the snake.

I love good history on the snake as well, gotta know if it eats and sheds normally.
