Re: Most Dented Egg
i don't know why we insist on such perfectly shaped eggs... I am sure in the wild they get quite deflated...

Re: Most Dented Egg
I have already redone the box and added more water.
I was going to go with the substrateless method, but talked my self out of it!

Re: Most Dented Egg
Adding some water should be fine. But like was mentioned before there shouldnt be any denting this early. You will see this in the last couple of weeks. You should also alow for the less water in your medium at this time also. This will cause the eggs to start denting. What I mean is if you are checking weekly for water evaporation and readding that amount of water. The last few weeks of incubation do not add water. This will cause the eggs to dent and make it easier for the neonates to emerge from the egg.

Re: Most Dented Egg
This year I'm actually aiming for a little lower humidity and somewhat deflated eggs, as you can see in the link Mike posted. My first clutch looked dimpled from the second week, and I left them that way until the end. I hatched out 6/6 plump, healthy babies on day 53, with weights of 76g, 79g, 81g, 81g, 83g and 84g. I also always do substrate-less incubation.
