The leg one took 90 mins roughly. Didnt hurt at all. More like a tolerable pain that you can sleep to LOL. The snake one will be tattoo 14 so im used to it but yet i keep them out of sight when i have shirt on.

Yea I heard it was similar to a hot needle being dragged across the skin? This will be my first tat so im not going to rush it as I want it to be perfect in every way.

    Re: Tattoo Position

If its your first tattoo I would recommend it in a area that is more tolerant of pain like the outer arm on shoulder. Tattoos really do not hurt like ppl say it does. first few mins sting then after that its a talkf est with the artist.

    Re: Tattoo Position

I would try to position the snake where I wanted the tat and take a few pics to see how it looks. I would also bring the snake with me while I was getting that tat so the artist could get the coloring right.

    Re: Tattoo Position

lets see if i can explain thiat so you can picture it.

I came up with one more idea. In stead of resting on chest and going over shoulder to back. I will have the head resting on lower left side of stomach with body angled up wrapping around ribs then onto back.
