Alright well for future reference, handling a snake more isn't going to make it more likely to eat.
I don't think ball pythons go on safari rides in Africa when they are feeling particularly uninterested in food

I believe Ed (Freakie Frog) has had success with the old car ride trick and has mentioned it here.
Some snakes react differently to change of environment. Whether its switching from a 32qt to a 15qt or taking the snake on a short car ride the purpose is to snap it out of its fasting.

It might if the reason they aren't eating is because they are chicken! If he gets more used to human activity he might not be so scared when I try to feed him. This snake is a serious scaredy-cat. I never handle this guy at all, so I think when I DO interact with him he is extra jumpy. Who knows. Learning stuff is why this is a fun hobby!
