    Our first BP was a pied. Got her a month or so ago. She's my wife's and her name is Pumpkin Pied:



    So, if you really want a piebald as your first BP, we're all for it!

    BUT, don't buy one without educating yourself first. These forums are a great resource, and I'd strongly recommend getting a book too. We got The Complete Ball Python and read it cover to cover. We spoke often with our local reptile store staff who was also a great resource. And since we already had 4 corn snakes, we felt we were ready to take the next step to something more exotic. We've had no regrets and, besides, my wife was the one who wanted her, so what else could I do but go along with it?
