    I jinxed myself...

Well, I guess I jinxed myself! Here's what I wrote yesterday on llovelace's thread about getting bitten...

"I often keep the feeders near my snakes, and haven't gotten a bite yet - but two of them also let me hand-feed (no tongs required), so I guess they aren't the biting type. Now that I say that, I'll probably get a good one tomorrow..."

As predicted, I got my first bite today! Delilah has been in shed for almost a week, and I was getting worried about how she's been squished in the corner. So I made the stupid mistake of picking her up, since I've handled Toby during shed without a problem... first she hissed a warning (which usually leads to nothing), and then she tagged me. You're right, it hurts less than a paper cut, although it did make my heart jump a little - but I've had cat scratches that hurt 20x more. She acted all tough about it, so I'll humor her and pretend it was horribly painful. Here's a picture of my deep wound, LOL:

Can you even find it among the freckles?

I tell my redheaded freckled son that those aren't freckles, those are angel kisses (he found this cute when he was little, now he's a man of almost 18 he gives me such a look if I say that LOL).

Yep you did jinx yourself. It's like if someone posts here about their snake not pooping, it immediately poops and makes them look silly for posting about it in the first place.

Oh Oh Pick Me Pick Me I'll play....

I NEVER EVER find bags of cash just laying in the street.

Do I have to do 3 counter-clockwise circles and spit out of the left side of my mouth over my right shoulder with one eye closed or anything?
I may not be very smart, but what if I am?

Cute. My entire family is redheaded (mine being the brightest!), so nobody had to explain them to me... I thought anyone without freckles had a problem, LOL.

Uh-oh... I've fallen victim to the BP curse.

Sorry, it only works when it's unintentional... but just in case, I KNOW I'm not getting the job I interviewed for yesterday.
