Christian, while I understand your wanting another snake as a parent I understand your mother's point of view too. The fact of life, which I know is hard for a teenager to understand, is that it is your mom's home so it's ultimately her decision. Bugging her about it is probably like when my kid's bug me about something - it kind of makes me want to say no all the more because of that.

How about instead of asking for another snake at this point you show your mother how good you are doing with the one you own. Even being a member here at this website will show your mom you are really serious about learning and being a responsible snake owner. Actions always speak louder than words when it comes to us parents.

Also think about your immediate future. Until you know where and what you will be as an adult outside your parent's home maybe only having one snake to deal with might be best. If you go away to college for instance keeping one relatively small python may be workable - many of them, not so much.
