Congrats! She's really nice. I'm sure she'll settle down soon.

Good find. A little head wobble doesn't mean anything. They will still grow up to be healthy snakes. If you put some music to the head wobble they look like they are dancing.

Either wa it does no matter.... I am still going to pick my lady up in a few weeks when she get big enough to come home.. I just want to be asd prepared for her as I can be. Mr wibbles seemed to have no issues with eating... Are there any issues that can arrise during breeding?
The spider wobble is a neurological disorder, not a weak neck. Some sort of balance issue perhaps. All spiders have the possibility of showing wobble, and even if they wobble or seem to almost never wobble, they can throw baby spiders that may or may not wobble to various degrees.

To the OP, GREAT pickup she's a beauty!!! Double check the sex though before you think about breeding her, I always doubt that CL finds are sexed correctly, though if you got her from the breeder then it's pretty likely she really is a she.

So only Spiders have this 'wobble'? I have a 'Normal' and he has the wobbles. I thought it was cute but like a juvenile thing..

    Re: cool CL find

The spider gene is believed by many (including me) to cause neurological issues which manifest in what is called the "spider wobble".

There are other possible problems, both genetic and otherwise, which might cause similar neurological issues.

There is a carpet python mutation called the "Jaguar" which is known to have neuro problems, obviously it's a completely different gene, but causes issues that at least to me seem somewhat similar to BP spiders.

I believe Carmel Albinos are prone to kinking. At least I think it was Carmel albinos. And the homozygous woma/pearl which dies after a few months, Although I think one may still be alive. Theres some more but I can't think of them.

There are no Pearls still alive..they all fail to thrive..I have been told that what the Pearls go through is far more disturbing and heartbreaking to see than even the worst spider wobble.
