    Something wrong?

I have an 11 week old ball python, and he's been eating for four weeks. Every other time he's been fine, but today after eating he was opening his mouth repeatedly and rubbing the sides of his mouth on random things in his cage. I'm not sure if it's normal, but it worries me. If anyone knows what this could be, advice would be greatly appreciated [:

[I posted this in the wrong section before XD]

[: Thanks. He's my first snake so I'm really unsure about pretty much everything. I usually ask the people at my local pet store, but I just found this website and it's great!

Does he have a bit of substrate caught? He could be trying to wedge that out.

Or he's just re-adjusting his jaw, which is normal.

    Re: Something wrong?

I think he was just re-adjusting, because he stopped doing it. Thanks so much for the help [: I thought I'd choked him or something with a mouse that was too big even though it was the same size as the ones he hadn't had any trouble with XD

I'm sure he was just connecting his jaw back to his skull. And also, snakes cannot choke since they swallow their prey whole.
