I have no idea either - she is caged alone and has never been mated. Does anyone know whether or not she could lay eggs??

It is called parthenogenesis; and while theoretically its possible I'm not sure its ever been documented in ball pythons. I don't think this is your issue though.

it probably has happened. just no where that it could be documented. the wild has many weird things happen.
