Cool! Instead of photoshop, you should download "Gimp"! It is like 1000000x Better than photoshop (In my opinion) plus its FREE! What gets better than that? Also when you cut pictures out an post it onto other pictures they come out a lot cleaner... But good work on the pic you made, and definitely try gimp man, you'll be happy you did.. Just go to gimp.com and download the one for either the mac or pc (whichever you have..)

The program has no bearing on that, it's all the skill of the user. I use photoshop and a Wacom tablet, and using the right techniques am able to cut out my stuff then make it blend smoothly into the new picture.

Good for a first try though. I'd suggest some of the photoshop tutorials out there.

Definitely a user preference...Most tutorials are geared toward Photoshop. I prefer Photoshop because that's what I learned on and am comfortable with. I know most keyboard shortcuts and know my way around the interface pretty well....I tried gimp and didn't care for it...my preference

No. Gimp is not 1,000,000 times better than Photoshop. They're both pretty much equally as powerful. The only real difference between them is the layout of where everything is. With that said, I definitely recommend checking it out. Photoshop is generally out of the price range of most people unless you're eligible for some sort of discount -- especially if you're just looking to mess around with it.

It's a tablet that you draw on. You hold a "pen" and draw on the tablet, and it's like drawing on paper...pressure sensitive, your strokes are more natural than with a mouse...The big daddy of them all is the Cintiq. I want

    Re: Photoshop

I tried going on "gimp.com" and isnt an actual website. Its like one of those things where you spell a website wrong and it takes you to a weird page... Are you sure it is "gimp.com"?
