its going to be 2-4 weeks before he gets used yo you. my boy did the same thing. but now as soo as i lift his cave he sticks his head up and i grab him and he is all over me like a jungle gym now. and he is not head shy with me any more i have a few pics my girlfriend took on her blackberry of me ticking his chin lol

all you have to do is wait. he needs time to realize "hey my new home is fantastic, i eat regularly, and that big thing that grabs me and holds me isn't trying to eat me"
