I'm sorry she was smaller than imagined, but wow she is stunning.

Re: does this sound right to any of you??

I think it is quite possible that she dropped 9 eggs. I know that Genetic Stripe female stock typically have large clutch sizes, as do most of my Het Axanthic and Axanthic stock. With that said, if she did indeed drop 9 eggs, I would expect them to be on the smaller side (maybe 80 grams apiece average). If my guestimates are correct, 9 80 gram eggs would weigh 720 grams. 1500 grams(starting weight of snake), minus 720 grams worth of eggs equals 780 grams worth of left over snake. That number is relatively close to her actual weight now.

All in all, what I am trying to say, is that I think it is possible that you were told the whole truth. The decision on what to do from here is your own.

Re: does this sound right to any of you??

This same person also sent me 8 normal female breeders out of "his collection" 2 weeks ago. They were all shipped from a reptile dealer in FL(not him) to my house, 3 of them came in with RI and one was a male

I felt uncomfortable the whole time, thats why I had him ship first. I hate to go back on a deal, but I think I might have to. Almost every animal this guy has sent me has been misrepresented.

Its time to ship everything back to him and find a new person to deal with!

    Hi,

It's also worth considering the BOI if he is either unwilling or unable to reach a satisfactory agreement with you.

Re: does this sound right to any of you??

well, we spoke on the phone today, I think they are gonna go back. The proverbial "straw" was when he backed out on the payment plan we agreed on for his bumblebee male. He wanted full payment up front, not in 2 weeks like we agreed. Its a shame, she is a hot lesser, but my killerbee smokes her!

I can grab another lesser female later at some point. I may try to hunt down a pastel lesser male for now.....

Tim, In your post asking if you should trade---I said no. Hate to hear that you got shafted. I wouldn't do business with that guy again.

Do everything in your power to not let the RI spread in your collection. Quarantine the sick girls in room away from the others!!!

I think you should keep the killer bee girl if you can get her back. Best of luck!!!

The killerbee never left the house, so no worries there!

The females are not even at my house, all snakes get sent to the quarantine room at my buddies, I have WAY to much to lose because of some junk snakes.

Dude you knew I was gonna have to beat you if you had sent out that Killer first lol I'm so glad that it stayed with you now its just that much easier to send back his animals and be done with it. I expect a write up on this seller so we can all avoid him
