Ultramels did used to be called caramel albinos from Noahs line in Africa.
They looked so different to other lines of caramel they called them ultramels.
We got an ultramel early 2008, and they were then being sold as caramels then.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Ultramel used to be called the Crider Line Caramel, but as there has been no trace of kinking associated with the other lines of Caramels they have named it something different.
