    I was under the impression that they were imported, but I could very well be wrong about that. That's something that I didn't ask. When I asked about them he had mentioned that he'd gotten one clutch of eggs from the female that went bad and then she didn't go the next year. I would think that if he had produced them, he would have done that same pairing the past couple years to make more?
