    Re: Average Price

I third it. I've been looking around and haven't found a Het Lav Albino for less than like 1200. I talked to the breeders of my Poss Het Lav Albino and they have a 0.1 Poss Het Lav Albino for 200 but I'll just take the long route with my male. On the plus side I found a 100%Het Albino 50% VPI Snow male for 100 shipped!

People seem to expect prices to be what they see advertised. There are deals to be made and deals to be had. I guess I shouldn't say the average price is $500, but I have seen them available for that. It's not often, but it does happen. If you watch the boards several times a day, and not just one board, you will find better prices. Network and meet new breeders. Big-name breeders are not the only ones working with lavender albinos. They set the high mark for prices and it only goes down from there. Do your research.

I have seen albinos for $300 MANY places. You want a deal, go to shows. People don't like taking animals back home. I will stand by my prediction made last winter, you will see male spiders break the $100 mark this year as well as several other much lower base prices......Pieds for $1000 or less? I hate to say it but yes. I'm already seeing it with 08s.

    Good luck.

    Re: Average Price

I have done my research. I still would like to know who has been selling them for $500.

Reason being, so I can clean them out later this year.
