    Do you have a Thermostat? (Not a thermometer)
    If you don't the snake is probably being burned, and you need to get a thermostat, dimmer, or herpstat to control that UTH!

    I suggest getting some thermometers with probes too and putting them underneath the substrate right above the UTH. That temperature should not get over 95F.

    I got a temp control unit as well
    2 actually for my rack system
