    It's possible, it's not a sure thing. I've had a 6 month old male breeding for me, he was also a very good eater and about 350g by that time. I've also tried breeding a male at a year and a half that was over 500G, not only did he not breed but he totally freaked out. He quit eating dropped a lot of weight quickly and if I hadn't resorted to using a pinky pump to get some food into him he would have died.

    Just keep an eye on him and make that determination next year. But be realistic, If you don't have a good feeling about breeding him, then don't try.
