What can i put in an empty 10 gallon tank?

have you thought about a crab? I had a crab once, they are very elusive, but when you do see them, and see how they change their habitat you cant but feel amused.
Now a hermit crab would work yes, but I was thinking more along the lines of a Halloween crab or maybe a Fiddler crab.
I'd check those out a bit, and they are WAY different and really cool.
further ask on that I guess, I don't truly know if a crab like that is suited for a 10 gal. I'd imagine it would work though.

I have 2 fiddler crabs and they are way awesome to watch.. just becareful cuz they do are escape artists!

You could go with a MALE garter snake... a female will get far too large for a 10 gallon. They average between 3 and 4 feet and will suck down several adult mice in a sitting! It's incredible how much smaller the males stay!!

Fiddler crabs could do very well in a 10 gallon, halloween crabs get a little big. Seriously though, crabs are REALLY underestimated as pets. They are so interesting to watch, and feed... really fun to have! Especially fiddlers, with all of the arm waving they do!
