Because the babies need the time in the egg after pipping to absorb their yolk. It gives them just a little bit more time in the protection of the shell to finish developing--like how human babies need the last week or so to properly develop the lungs. Babies can and DO come out early...but you're better off waiting for them to decide they've cooked long enough on their own.

Every egg has open up,so I decieded to slit a bigger opening in the egg. So far i can see 2 definate pastels that look awsome so much blushing,1 normal that still looks nice,and then we have one that likes to hide and only show here white belly. Once there all out of the egg I'll take weight and pics. I cant wait to see them after they shed.
