I hate to burst your bubble but those are pink eye dilutes...
Still congrats on producing them. I am working on a whole colony of them I am selectively breeding them to have self pink eyed.

Very cute, I love the little PED's.
Hoax, it you bred two head spots together, you'll get selfs. The pied is a homozygous form of the head spot.

Re: Some albino's born
just a question for anyone that can help with what you call dilutes. is it normal to get some of them in a litter from normals and if you breed two of them together will it always prove out in a litter that all babies will be dilutes? or is there some other form of them?
thanks in advance
Shawn

I'd like to hear more about the head spots? I'd love to get some selfs. What exactly are head spots?

Yes, the dilutes are simple recessive. Agouti's can have albinos or cinnamons.

Head spot is the heterozygous form of the white spotting gene and is co-dominant.
W*W*: Pied
N W*: Head spot
NN: Normal (solid or self)
