Re: Help ME
I don't think that method is working, please take your snake to the vet! It sounds as if he may have a serious problem!

Re: Help ME
Man I'd say you need to take her to the vet.
Playing "doctor" on her by doing what your doing and releasing "fluids" or whatever is not the greatest of ideas.
Doing something funny with her lip make me think of possible Mouth Rot, and possibly Respiratory Infection.
Why not just take the animal to the vet and find out whats going on? Even with all the experience people on the forums have, and all the advice we give, the best advice sometimes is to take a trip to the vet.

X2. Vets have experience in this sort of thing. It's not something for an amateur. It could be a respiratory problem.

Re: Help ME
First - STOP sticking things up in her.
Second - if you are so concerned that you are resorting to sticking foreign objects in her - you should take her to the vet.
Please update us after her vet visit.

I agree...this sounds like a possible RI. The swelling could be from fluid and mucus build up. Vet asap.

Re: Help ME
it sounds like its time to take them both to the vet because chances are that if one of them has something the other one will get it if it doesn't have it already.

That is the most comedic yet sincere and very serious post I have seen in a while.

I had a Burm couple years back, got it from a guy complete with RI and all. One shot, one meal and a week of rest later she was good again. Good luck! And yeah, separate them. They'll end up sooo happy.

And this is a clear example of one of the main reasons why snakes should be housed separately.
2x vet bills!
