For next season I am going to invest on a incubator that has a glass front. That way I won't be tempted to open up the incubator all the time. How will I know the eggs are ok?

I know to look for signs of mold and such and make sure the eggs are not wet. If they have mold or are wet, I just wipe it off gently with a cloth or paper towel right?
