    Re: Say hello to Amigo.

That is an amazing beardie, I absolutely love his eyes.

I have wanted one really bad for a long time.. but don't have the room for a cage of proper proportions for one.. not to mention, I'm terrible at building my own enclosures so a good floor-wide glass tank will be hard to find other than a 40 breeder, which I think is too small..

Breeding roaches or crickets would not go well either...

Thanks again for all the compliments folks!

I actually have him sitting on me right now. Little bugger just escaped from his tank! I've never had an issue with a beardie climbing out an open latch in the screen lid but sure enough my guy is part kangaroo I guess, haha. I found him hiding under my bed. He didn't get too far, heh. (A lot easier to find than an escaped snake, that's for sure!)

I had him in a 15 gallon when I first got him and upgraded him to his current tank, a 40 gallon breeder. It's on the small side for an adult beardie so I will likely end up building him something in the future. For now though it's adequate...

You would be VERY surprised by how high they can jump.

    See this tank

On of my beardies from the ground could jump up and land perfectly on the ledge of the top, and sometimes if I left the top open he would hang out there.

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat
