    sambo jigging, australia.

Nothing like getting a 30+ kilo fish, often said to be just about the strongest pound for pound in the ocean, trying to pull you overboard.

Except perhaps when a shark big enough to tear it in half assists it in trying to pull you overboard.

To anyone who's interested, look up sambo jigging on youtube. It's the most physically demanding fishing ever.

The jigging of the 0.5-2 lb spoons as fast as possible through a 300 foot water column itself is a workout.

Giant red Snapper (along with several normal sized keepers)

    Sheeps Head

    Wahoo

    Sons large mouth bass

Bonnet Head Shark (exactly 1 lb short of world record)

    Barracuda

    Other Sons speckled trout

Red Drum aka Redfish. (WAY too big to be legal

    King Mackerel (Kingfish)

    African Pomano

Some very tasty b-liners (vermilion Snapper) not very big but they add up.

Whiting... again not very big but they add up BIG TIME!

Biggest of them all... 120+ lb tiger shark. Nothing to compare size too... WAY to big to try to get on the boat. took two hours to get in on a large penn spinning reel.
Mike I grew up in Jax, My dad still lives there. I miss it everyday....All i did with my sparetime was fish, play football, basketball and date girls. Man seeing these pics makes me wanna come back...lol.

Btw I go back to Florida every year to fish down by Miami, and everglades City.....the Best times of my life. I usually spend 2 weeks there.
