congrats to VPI, its amazing how the clutch is soo early and it was a vital clutch, its usually the most vital that come at the end of the season!
sorry to disagree, but the super cinnamon works in the way of turning the snake to a solid black meaning besides the panda pied its really the end of the morph, but this patternless starts with no pattern so techniclly you should be able to cross a pastel and get a patternless yellow snake, could you imagine a super pastel patternless, wow!!!!

Eh at the same time, we already have a rather patternless BP it's call a Champagne, and we'll likely have the Super Pastel of it soon....

right i understand that, but you can tell the difference in a pastel champagne, and plus the patternless looks alot different then the champagne, and the patternless is still the same color as the backround of pattern as a normal, its just missing the pattern so possibly the pastel cross could make it a all yellow snake.
the genetics are clearly differnt between the champagne and patternless thus making different results with the crosses

Actually she wrote that the original two imports where "pretty normal". Maybe by "pretty" she meant "very normal" but I'm betting they where "particularly attractive normals". If so they might have been selected for breeding in the first place and pairing to each other based on a subtle variation from normal common to the two. I've heard that often het stripes have a look to them so maybe this morph does too (who knows it might even be an allele of genetic stripe). A very exciting new morph and glad to hear it’s on the way to being established and eventually generally available.

Congrats Dave and Tracy! I just love the look of the patternless and am so inspired by the story behind it.
