Did he get it done?
I started pairing my two mojaves in mid october. They took right away. And I paired them every 2-3 weeks after that and every time they took up to around February, which was about 2 weeks after I warmed them back up. Since then he has not shown any interest in her, or any other females (tried putting him with my female pastel who's been breeding with my pin and pastel).
Now the female has been building very nicely recently. My question is since its been a couple of months since she's locked with him, do you think that she will go and produce a viable clutch?
I have a couple of other males that are still breeding that I could put with her, but I really want to keep it mojave x mojave to go for BEL, I have a pastel I could put her with, and pastaves would be nice, but not what I'm gunning for. But at the same time, I'd rather get something than nothing.
Thoughts?

Put him (The Mojave) back in...
Often times, you may miss the quickie that they had earlier on, and he may actually be doing something while your back is turned.
If BELs are what you want, keep putting him in there until she ovulates

OK, thanks for the advice!! I will keep doing that, maybe he has just gotten it down to a science and does it so quick now!
Think it would be worth trying to put him with another male 1st? Or try to rub some sperm from another male on her back? Or any of those other tricks?

Re: Did he get it done?
you could try putting him in with another male, combat stimulus is a proven trick to get slacker males "into it".
Other than that just keep pairing until she ovulates as stated, and hopefully he will do his job and she will Ov.
Good luck!!!

I have never needed to combat a male, nor have I wanted to.
I would try the sperm trick before the combat, as there are too many things that can go wrong with it... (aka your Mojave not winning, and not breeding)
