I do stand behind that no snake is trustworthy. The question should NEVER be "if" I get bit, it's just a matter of "when". You're beloved pet might get a smell of a mouse and she will no longer be this tame beast you own. I have snakes that won't bite, but they have teeth and they can. Don't put it past them. I'm gonna go a little off topic and apply the teeth statement to dogs, cats, any animal. Upset them enough, or make a mistake and it can happen.
